SunHorse Weddings was born on October 15th, 2002 after owner, Tiffany Lanier, coordinated her 1st wedding on the island for her best friend in February 2001. During her planning, Tiffany ran into many brick walls due to the language barrier, lack of available information concerning vendors and venues, the refusal of vendors on the island to return emails or phone calls and the popular Mexican mentality of “manana” (it can be done tomorrow – or not at all). Tiffany saw the need for an English-speaking wedding coordinator on the island who understands American business culture and the expectations of a North American bride.
We take your ideas, photos and visions and use it to recreate exactly what you envisioned for their special day. Today, SunHorse Weddings coordinates over forty weddings per year and is the most popular wedding coordination company on Isla Mujeres.

Tiffany Lanier Wedding Director
Tiffany came from an Information Technology /Project Management background working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She now uses her Project Management to coordinate the minute details of each wedding and makes sure all the T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted. Tiffany also has a great eye for flowers, colors and fabrics which makes her a great sounding board for the clients’ decoration ideas.

Lyna is our newest addition and brings her business degree and passion for romance to assist her ensuring your wedding is unforgettable. Lyna comes to us from Ontario Canada with a restaurant management background and loves to help our Canadian brides.
